We will touch: Cinigiano, Semproniano, Saturnia, Pitigliano, Sovana, Sorano, Castell'Azzara.
We leave at 9.00 in the direction of Arcidosso. A short tour inside the town with a visit to the spectacular Castle and the prestigious museum of Tibetan culture. From here a breathtaking route takes us first to Monticello Amiata and then to Cinigiano, one of the agricultural villages of Amiata. We then dive towards the Maremma. After a stop at the Piccolomini Castle in Triana, we continue in the direction of Saturnia where we can take a dip in the wonderful thermal springs. It is a pleasure to be lulled by the flow of water under the spectacular waterfalls. We set off again towards the Etruscan area. In quick succession we will visit Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano, with the houses dug into the tuff and the incredible necropolises. The next stop is Castell'Azzara. From this village we can enjoy another magnificent panorama, that of the Val di Paglia, which extends from Tuscany to Lazio. A few kilometers crossing what was the ancient mining area of Siele and Selva and we will reach the village of Santa Fiora, the pearl of Amiata.
An extraordinary visit is to the Pieve delle Sante Fiora e Lucilla with its Robiane ceramics, the ancient convent of the cloistered nuns and the Peschiera, the park built by Bosio Sforza in 1500.
An aperitif is a must in the town square, considered the living room of Amiata.
Immediately after returning to the hotel where an evening awaits us with traditional local dishes paired with the Bianco di Pitigliano wine and the Rossi del Morellino di Scansano.
