We will touch: Chianciano, Lake Trasimeno, Assisi, Città della Pieve.

This day is dedicated to Umbria. Passing through the famous spa town of Chianciano you reach the beautiful Lake Trasimeno.
We will go around the lake passing through Passignano where we will stop for a drink.
The view from here is absolutely wonderful with Mount Amita in the background.
Another very important stop at Monte del Lago from where you can dominate the entire lake.
We then set off towards Assisi. We first travel along a stretch of highway and then exit at Ospedaletto. Here Assisi appears before us majestically on the top of the hill.
The city of San Francesco awaits us in all its splendor. A visit to the Basilica of San Francesco and Santa Chiara is a must, as well as a stroll through the streets of the center. Here we can have lunch in one of the characteristic restaurants of the historic village.
The return journey begins, crossing the entire Umbrian valley to return to Tuscany just past the village of Città della Pieve, which can be reached by taking a beautiful road full of curves. If you want, we can stop for a tonic bath at the spa of San Casciano dei Bagni. This road winds along a ridge that divides two valleys with the Radicofani hill and Mount Amiata in the background.
After the long journey, upon returning to the hotel, a moment of rest awaits us before dinner. The dishes will be accompanied by a Sagrantino, a characteristic Umbrian wine.
