Wellbeing passes through the palate!

After 40 years of management, the first generation left the company in the hands of their children, who have been running it independently since 1999. For a very long time Claudia ran the kitchen and then left it in the hands of Giorgio. Enrico takes care of the dining room while the legendary Franz of the Reception.

In 2022 Le Macinaie celebrated 50 years of activity.

It's incredible but we are always here and with a great desire to always do better

The proposal has changed profoundly over time to adapt to new tastes and new types of consumption.

We often remember the style of the 70s-80s meal when they used to propose the famous fixed menu that was based on the service of at least 3 first courses and the legendary mixed roast. The wine was strictly in a carafe.

Over time we have tried to grow our offer. Dishes increasingly cared for and attentive, important selection of wines.

We remember the infinite certificates of recognition given to us by our guests

The highlight is obviously the participation in theOscar of Italian Cuisine of 1987 where we ranked 2th place with cheese and pepper tortelli, prepared by uncle Romano combined with Frescobaldi's Villa of Corte Rosè.

There were numerous participations in Amiata at the table, the event organized by Gourmet Gianni Bonacina also in the 80s.
