OBSERVING THE STARS ON MOUNT AMIATA

Prato delle Macinaie, located in front of our Hotel, is a perfect place for stargazing. It is an open space of almost one hectare at about 1400 meters above sea level. The light conditions are ideal, here we can leave our telescopes safely mounted all night, we obviously have the electricity to make them work.
