Mount Amiata is an extraordinary environment for trekking.
The spectacular beech forest that descends from the peak to a thousand metres (one of the largest in Italy), shines with a lush green in summer, and in autumn gives way to an extraordinary fantasy of colours.
Below a thousand meters incredible thousand-year-old chestnut groves, which produce one of the most delicious chestnuts in Italy. This is the area of the villages. Six small historic villages that breathe history at every step.
Finally, below the villages, here are the olive groves of the famous Seggianese olive cultivation and the vineyards that produce the prestigious Montecucco DOC.
