A completely new trail system
On Mount Amiata we have a completely new trail network developed by the CAI of Siena.
The Monte Amiata trekking map is made available free of charge to all our guests. We find trails for “all legs” or “all wheels” and we will be able to suggest the ones best suited to your needs.
A must is definitely the ring of the summit “Macinaie – Cantore – Vetta Amiata – Contessa – Macinaie” of about 7 km with which we reach the summit of the mountain.
Also of great interest is the long ring of about 32 km that circumnavigates the Amiata between 800 and 1300 m.
Then there are simpler or more challenging routes.
For those interested in trekking we also provide a Garmin GPS with the tracks of the most interesting routes already preloaded inside.
