Animanatura Wild Sanctuary: an animal refuge in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma 🐾

located semproniano, a few kilometers from the suggestive Cascate del Mulino di Saturnia, Animanatura Wild Sanctuary represents a unique reality in the Tuscan panorama.

Indeed, this sanctuary was founded with a specific goal: to offer a safe and permanent home to animals that cannot be reintroduced into the wild. Consequently, each guest can live in a protected, peaceful environment that respects their needs.

🌳 A natural oasis of over 80 hectares

The sanctuary extends for more than 80 hectares of spectacular natural environments. Furthermore, approximately 23 hectares are dedicated exclusively to animals, which live in large semi-natural areas.

In this way, the animals can express natural behaviors, reducing stress and improving their quality of life. Currently, the sanctuary hosts over 450 animals of different species, each with a unique story.

🐾 A safe haven for non-returnable animals

Many of the animals taken in come from difficult situations, such as abuse, abandonment, or environments incompatible with wild life. However, thanks to the team's work, they finally find a new opportunity.

For this reason, Animanatura is not just a physical place, but also an ethical project that places animal welfare at its core. Furthermore, every intervention is designed to ensure dignity and tranquility for the sanctuary's guests.
