Art Trek

My name is Rossella but for my activity as a guide (tourist and environmental) I have chosen a specific brand: Tuscany Art Trek. Why? It is a name that encompasses my passion for the wonderful Tuscan land, for art and for trekking.
My love for the mountains was born about twenty years ago and, like all true loves, it grew over time, leading me to walk along many paths: from the Sibillini, where my “initiation” took place, to the Dolomites and the Alps of the Aosta Valley, just to name a few.
Then, thanks to my husband, whose parents and grandparents are originally from Vivo d'Orcia, I discovered Amiata, the closest “mountain”. And here was born the desire to share my emotions with others, the desire to make a land still genuine, authentic, where time flows at other rhythms, “live”.
In an environment like the Amiata one, dominated by lush chestnut trees and enchanted beech forests that frame volcanic rocks characterized by a primitive beauty, the ideas for naturalistic excursions are many. We will move following the rhythms of nature, trying to perceive the forest also through the senses that we use less such as hearing and touch or through the traces of ancient crafts now disappeared.
With me you can always choose: immersion in nature or in art and history, discovery of the enchanting villages of the area or a mix of all these possibilities!
