“Views of Amiata”
A collective exhibition between art, nature and regeneration

Seven artists, one mountain, infinite visions.
From September 14th to November 2nd 2025, the collective exhibition will be open to visitors at the Hotel Le Macinaie on Monte Amiata “Views of Amiata”, an artistic journey born from an authentic immersion experience in the Amiata area.

Seven illustrators collaborating with the publishing house The Viking Publisher – a publishing house dedicated to the illustrated narration of stories, legends, and territories – have chosen to interpret Mount Amiata with 25 original works using different pictorial styles and languages.

The exhibition takes shape from a direct encounter with the landscape: a silent yet profound dialogue with nature, the villages, the atmosphere, and the memories of a land rich in history, spirituality, and beauty. Over a weekend, the artists walked along the mountain paths, observed the play of light among the beech and chestnut trees, breathed in the silence of the villages, and embraced the evocative views that suddenly open up between the mountain's curves.

Each work on display is therefore the fruit of an immersive journey: an act of restitution that translates into diverse shapes, colors, and perspectives, united by a common thread: listening. Listening to nature, but also to oneself, because Amiata is not just a place to visit, but an environment capable of regenerating body and mind, where one can rediscover an authentic connection with the essence of life and the deepest dimension of the human being.

“Views of Amiata” It's not just an art exhibition: it's an invitation to immerse yourself in a land that speaks to everyone, that welcomes without distinction, and that, through its landscapes and energy, offers opportunities for well-being, inspiration, and discovery.

The projects of the publishing house Il Vichingo Editore are born from the friendship and artistic collaboration of an informal group of illustrators, united by the desire to explore and narrate territories through an authentic and participatory perspective.
