Snow cannons in operation. We are working to be able to open.
As can be seen from the webcam images from yesterday and today, the “natural” snow deposited by yesterday's disturbance is only a few centimetres (5 cm).
Currently, despite the strong wind, the temperatures allow us to shoot cannons on the Jolly, Asso di Fiori and treadmill slopes.
We hope to continue to be able to guarantee sufficient snow conditions to be able to open, as soon as possible, the ski area and the Macinaie facilities. In addition, another small disturbance with snow is expected for tomorrow afternoon (Sunday). Our goal is always to be able to guarantee at least the opening of the Prato Macinaie facilities during the Christmas holidays.

THE SITUATION:
After yesterday's small disturbance, the current situation:
• Snow depth at Prati Macinaie and Contessa: 15 cm.
• The snow, despite the high percentage of humidity present, is powdery.
• Current temperatures at Prati Macinaie – Contessa: -3,8°.

Roads clear, icy in places (chains on board or snow tires fitted are mandatory).
